ABOUT
Mia Tešić (born 2001) is a speculative designer and interdisciplinary artist based in Vienna. Her practice explores contemporary topics through material experimentation, hands-on processes, and tangible experiences. Central to her work is the creation of dialogue, inviting new perspectives through objects and narratives that engage both mind and body.
Mia’s approach blends craft, performance, and storytelling, often incorporating participatory elements that encourage shared experiences and active observation. Whether through collaborative making or immersive installations, her work speculates on future possibilities while remaining grounded in the physicality of materials and the act of creation.

01 EUPNEA
In today’s fast-paced world, EUPNEA - an interactive sound installation, was created to enable introspection through sound. This object uses amplified breath and 12 copper tubes to transform breathing into acoustic art. Participants explore emotional awareness by touching tubes, each revealing a unique soundscape of their own breath, reconnecting them with their inner selves.

02 RENUNCIATION REBELLION
Renunciation Rebellion is a performance exploring a fictional anti consumerist religion. Critiquing modern society’s devotion to consumption, the piece stages a ritual of renunciation and personal transformation. 03 PUPA
PUPA is a cocoon-like hanging installation exploring physical and emotional vulnerability. Made from 1,000 meters of discarded electrical cable, it reacts to the body’s weight and movement, creating sensations of floating and entrapment. The net leaves time etched marks on the skin, revealing tension between exposure and shelter.

09 WELLNESS VESSELS
Wellness vessels explores the aesthetics and contradictions of wellness culture. Seventy seven handblown glass vessels are filled with potion like drinks, each promising exaggerated health benefits. Blending craft, satire, and ritual, the work questions our obsession with purity, self optimization, and the commodification of healing.
